Important information for White Plains Hospital visitors
We have changed our visitation policy to allow one visitor per day per patient. Visitors are allowed between the hours of 12 and 6 p.m. daily.
Exceptions may apply for parents visiting the NICU; pediatric patients; patients in palliative care; and those with special needs, being discharged or needing a support person.
Visitors must be over 18 years of age. ID will be required at check-in. Upon entering the lobby, visitors will be screened for temperature and asked a series of questions to rule out exposure. These questions include travel history, as per the Governor's latest guidelines. Please check the New York State Travel Advisory website prior to traveling to make sure you are up-to-date on the latest testing and quarantine requirements.
Visitors who do not adhere to the above guidelines will be asked to leave.
In addition, for patients coming to our physician offices and for outpatient testing and procedures, we ask that you please come alone to your appointment unless you require assistance or are a parent accompanying a minor.
Food and dining for visitors
The cafeteria and café are open to visitors from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
Here is a list of area hotels and longer stay residences that are in proximity to the Hospital and have asked to be listed on our website. (Note that these listings are provided as a service to our patients and families but being listed does not imply an endorsement of any of these establishments by the Hospital.)
For the health and well-being of our patients, visitors and staff, White Plains Hospital is a smoke-free institution. Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the Hospital or outside on the grounds of the Hospital campus.
