Administrative offices are located on the first floor of the Hospital. Nursing Administration is located on the 5th floor. Administrators are on call 24-hours a day, every day of the year. If you need assistance, call 914-681-1200, weekdays from 8:30 am to 5 pm; after hours ask the switchboard operator, "0," to contact the Administrator or Clinical Coordinator on call.
The Patient Relations Department is a direct link to the Hospital administration and serves as a liaison between patient, family, and the Hospital. Our goal is to improve the hospital experience by explaining policy, answering questions, and seeking solutions to problems.

The Hospital Ethics Committee is an advisory body consisting of representatives from many patient care and service areas throughout the hospital as well as members of the local community. Its mission is to further the delivery of excellent health care. The Ethics Committee strives to accomplish this by:
- Educating all members of the healthcare team and the community regarding bioethical issues.
- Providing clinical ethics consultations and assisting with the resolution of ethical issues.
- Providing advice and assistance with the development or review of hospital policies when specific ethical issues might be involved.
Clinical Ethics Consultation
Clinical Ethics Consultation is designed to offer a valuable service to optimize patient care, and to protect, the rights of patients and staff. Any White Plains Hospital staff member, patient or family member with a concern may request a consult. The ethics consult can be initiated by calling 914-681-2432 and leaving a message as directed. All messages will be picked up and assessed within 24 hours and evaluated for degree of urgency, which will determine the next level of action.
Care of the spirit is an integral part of patient care at White Plains Hospital. The Department of Pastoral Care, composed of professionally trained and Board Certified chaplains, is available to support patients and families encountering the challenges of illness, treatment options, or loss.
Worship services of many religious traditions are offered periodically throughout the year. Roman Catholic Eucharistic Ministers bring Holy Communion to Catholic patients is available throughout the week. Electric Sabbath Candles are available to Jewish patients on request. Members of Bikur Cholim make regular visits to Jewish patients. Your own religious leaders are always welcome to visit you in the hospital, should you wish to contact them.
