I live in Poughkeepsie, but I traveled down to White Plains Hospital for my spinal fusion surgery because Dr. Jared Brandoff came so highly recommended. I was surprised at the level of care and kindness I received at every point during my stay at White Plains Hospital. The nurses, techs and cleaning staff checked on me regularly, asking if I needed anything. I have had other procedures, including back surgery, at other hospitals and my stay at WPH was a better experience than I could have hoped for.

Due to the nature of my recovery, I stayed four days and three nights under the care of your amazing staff. I was treated well at every instance and felt at ease, even though I really dislike hospitals in general. I was even checked on by Merin Aby, the Nurse Manager Nancy Longworth, the Assistant Director. Every person I list below should get special recognition from White Plains Hospital for going above and beyond their job requirements in my care:

Nurses: Therese, Miracle and Karthika

Techs: Noel, Sabrina, Erin, Jennifer, Kayla, Jose

Cleaners: Rub and Rosa

Night Nursing Leader: Gente

My apologies if I missed anyone. I also had good physical therapists too, but I felt compelled to share my experience at White Plains Hospital and I have already spoken to over a hundred people (friends, family, fraternities, employees) about my exceptional stay there. White Plains Hospital is a well-run organization. I think it has to do with the culture that I saw fostered by your Assistant Director of Nursing and your Nurse Manager.
