I am writing to commend Irvine Browne from the Food Services Department for his exceptional care during my father’s recent admission to White Plains Hospital. Mr. Browne was consistently thorough and attentive in ensuring my father’s meals were prepared correctly, which was especially important given his restricted diet. His attention to detail and reliability gave our family great peace of mind. What stood out even more was his attitude. Regardless of how busy or challenging the circumstances were, he always greeted my father with warmth, positivity, and genuine kindness. This was particularly evident during the January snowstorm, when staffing shortages and strained services made an already difficult environment even more demanding. Despite this, Mr. Browne remained professional, upbeat, and compassionate. In my opinion, Irvine Browne represents the gold standard of what it means to work in a hospital setting—empathetic, dependable, and deeply respectful of patients, even under significant pressure. I hope his efforts are recognized, as they made a meaningful difference during a difficult time for our family.
