I came to the White Plains Hospital Emergency Department with a debilitating migraine. I was not in great shape. I had pain, vomiting, light and sound sensitivity - the works. I normally avoid EDs for my headaches, on the assumption that there will be long waits. However, my experience at White Plains Hospital was exceptional. First, I was triaged immediately and led to a gurney. The nursing and support staff were highly skilled, compassionate, and did everything by the book - infection precautions, PPE, medication rights, patient ID, all of it! Thanks to CJ, Dimitri, and Stephen for taking such good care of me. Scott, the PA, took one look at me and noticed I was squinting at the light. He came back after his assessment and brought me an eye mask. All the stars for that catch. The tech brought my husband a chair without us even knowing that it was an option. Patient transport to and from radiology was fast. CT Tech was great, he explained everything about the exam and effect of the dye. Every interaction I had was professional and empathetic. Great team, great collaboration, great care. Thank you all.
