I would like to recognize and thank Silvia Mendoza from Dr. Levy’s team in Hematology for her quick and effective action for patients. Silvia was able to help me when I desperately needed iron transfusions in a timely manner. Silvia very quickly bridged that gap by letting me know exactly what I would need to provide and by finding an open spot to fit me in.

She has also been instrumental in follow-ups, ensuring that I was booked into infusions as soon as possible. In every case she has followed up to make sure I had what I needed and that things were progressing, leaving no details behind. This means the world to a patient.
