Heart-friendly ways to be healthy
Get moving. Step up your exercise routine. Start with a 10-minute walk today!
Kick the habit. If you smoke, quitting will cut your heart disease risk.
Plate up heart-healthy foods. Limit saturated fat, sodium and added sugar.
Stay at a healthy weight.Balance calories with sensible portions and regular exercise.
Sleep well. Get at least 7 to 9 hours each night.
Manage high cholesterol, high blood pressure and high blood sugar. Work with your doctor to check for and control these conditions.
Soothe stress. Find a few minutes every day to calm your mind and body.
