Diagnosis & Treatment

White Plains Hospital has an anorectal physiology lab, one of the few such facilities in Westchester County. The lab conducts an array of tests to measure the function and integrity of the anus and rectum. Diagnostic tests may include ultrasound for assessment of cancer, anal muscle injury or fistulas. Referring physicians are provided a complete report at the conclusion of testing. High Resolution Anoscopy may be used to examine the anus for abnormalities that could lead to cancer.
