My Doctor told me to drink up!

Keeping your body hydrated with at least 6-8 glasses of water a day helps to improve and maintain your overall health.

By making sure you drink enough water each day, your health will improve in ways you can see and feel. Your body relies on water. If you are not giving it the hydration it requires, you will feel it. Your doctor will be able to notice it as well because of the many ways your body has of saying, “Could I trouble you for a glass of water?”
Some of these signs include:

  • Dry mouth and eyes
  • Poor cardiovascular health
  • Muscle and joint soreness
  • Irritated, dry, and flaky skin
Water keeps your body cool, your skin supple and helps cleanse your body—inside and out. That’s why I recommend you consume up to half a gallon, or 64 oz, each day. Carrying a reusable water bottle is a great way to track how much you’re drinking. So if you’re thirsty, skip the soda and have a water.
