P. 11

Today, the culture of nursing at White Plains Hospital is one in which new nurses are encouraged and supported to begin and end their careers here, with countless opportunities for growth, education, and leadership development along the way. Florence Nightingale would be proud of what our nurses — nearly 850 strong — have accomplished these past 127 plus years in serving our community in Westchester County.
As our own CEO, a former pediatric ICU nurse, demonstrates, nurses can do anything. And at
White Plains Hospital, they do. Their ability to provide compassionate, comprehensive, safe, and effective patient-centered care is second to none. They truly are the lifeblood of our Hospital.
