Robotic Surgery Program
White Plains Hospital was the first community hospital in the Westchester and southern Connecticut region to acquire the da Vinci robotic surgical system, which allows surgeons to perform complex procedures endoscopically through tiny access ports. Robotic surgery provides patients with a less traumatic, less painful and more cosmetically pleasing alternative to traditional open surgeries. The da Vinci robot is used for prostate cancer surgery, gynecologic, general, and thoracic surgical procedures. Learn more information about robotic surgery at White Plains Hospital.
