Each insurance carrier has different plans with different benefits and limitations. Your insurance carrier is the best resource to inform you regarding plan participation and out-of-pocket expenses. Although White Plains Hospital may participate with your insurance plan, it doesn't guarantee 100% coverage. You may be responsible for a deductible, co-insurance, copayment and/or non-covered services. If you have questions about your insurance coverage during your stay, contact our financial counselors at 914.681.1004.

Any questions concerning your bill should be directed to the Patient Accounts Department. This office is located at 101 East Post Road, 3rd floor, White Plains, NY 10601. It is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Telephone inquiries are welcome from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at 914.681.1004. You may also send us an email at wpbilling@wphospital.org.

Financial resources

At White Plains Hospital, we are committed to helping people understand the best options available to pay for their medical care. Our staff can help you understand what is covered by your specific health insurance benefits policy as well as expenses such as deductibles, co-insurance, co-payment and out-of-pocket expense limits. In addition, if you do not have insurance, we can assist you with determining your eligibility for free or low-cost insurance as well as governmental assistance. Our financial services counselors can also help assess if you may qualify for financial assistance. 

Participating insurance plans

You can view a list of insurance plans participating with White Plains Hospital. Please note that some providers who may be involved in your care may not participate in the same insurance plans covering care at the Hospital. Therefore we recommend you check with the physician arranging for hospital services to determine if the physician participates in a plan that covers your care. A list of physicians who provide services at White Plains facilities is also available.
