About Our Maternity Program

The William & Sylvia Silberstein Neonatal & Maternity Center at White Plains Hospital is a comprehensive, family-friendly facility designed for patients about to embark on one of lifes most exciting journeys, the birth of a child.

Our Maternity Center offers an array of pregnancy, perinatal, childbirth, and newborn care services in a soothing, safe, and welcoming environment, while our Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is one of the most advanced in the region with six board-certified neonatologists and 40 RNs, many of whom specialize in neonatal care. WPHC also has two perinatologists who specialize in high-risk pregnancies. From preconception to pediatric specialization, our goal is to make your birthing experience as comfortable and stress-free as possible.

More babies are born in WHPCs Neonatal & Maternity Center than in any other hospital in Westchester. We've averaged 2000 deliveries a year for several years. Additionally, WPHC was awarded a 5-star rating for clinical excellence in maternity care from HealthGrades, a leading source of independent healthcare quality information. This designation means we are in the top 15% or better of hospitals nationwide for clinical quality.
