White Plains, NY- (May 22, 2014) – Volunteers are crucial members of the White Plains Hospital family, working directly with patients or assisting the professional staff to achieve the Hospital's mission of providing exceptional care, every day. Their gift of time brings nurture and comfort to thousands of patients and their families each year.
On Thursday, May 15, White Plains Hospital thanked its volunteers for their dedication to the Hospital with a cocktail reception at the Woman’s Club of White Plains. Last year nearly 500 volunteers contributed 58,000 hours of service to the Hospital. Several volunteers were recognized for reaching milestones of service at the event.
