You will probably have many questions when you and your baby arrive home from the Hospital. To alleviate some of the anxiety experienced by new parents, White Plains Hospital offers a 24-hour Warm-Line. Our nurses will address any concerns or questions you might have. The Warm-Line phone number is (914) 681-1255.
Your baby will probably sleep quite a bit during its first month at home. This is quite normal. However, he or she will usually wake every two to four hours. He or she should be fed and diapered at this time. If your baby is breast fed he or she will probably need more frequent feedings, since breast milk is more rapidly digested. These first few weeks are an important time for bonding with your baby.
