Pediatric Hospitalist Program

Babies and children also benefit from the Hospitalist program. The Pediatric Hospitalist team consists of 9 board-certified pediatricians under the direction of Lori Madmon, D.O., Lead Pediatric Hospitalist. Hospitalists serve as the primary providers for patients who are admitted to WPHC for medical problems and the Well Baby Nursery, including those who have a primary care provider on the Hospital's medical staff. Hospitalists also provide consultative services for Pediatric inpatients and to the Emergency Department. In addition they provide pediatric care in the Family Health Center and are often asked by community pediatricians to meet a sick child and his or her parents in the Emergency Department.
