Oncology Data Department at Dickstein Cancer Treatment Center
Approved by The American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer, the Oncology Data Department tracks diagnoses, treatments, follow-up care, and survival rates of all patients with cancer. This data benefits future patient care and helps us constantly evaluate and establish goals for our cancer care program.
We measure quality care and outcomes for five major categories: breast, colon, lung, prostate, and bladder cancer, to compare to national data. The Oncology Data Department has collected data for a total of 14,336 patients since 1993 and continues active follow-up for over 7,000 patients.
To learn more about the program, contact manager Toni Amorelli, CTR at (914) 681-2288. You can also review our oncology data in more detail in our Cancer Program annual report.
