Beauty Shop
Located on the fifth floor, the Beauty Shop is open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 am to 5 pm to all patients and visitors. A service of The Auxiliary, the Beauty Shop also offers bedside service for patients. Appointments are suggested. Please call extension 1224.
Blood Donor Center
Give the "gift of life"- be a blood donor! Visit the Blood Donor Center located on the main floor of the Hospital. Call extension 1056 to make an appointment.
Gift Shop
Magazines, postage stamps, cards, candy, clothes, and personal care items, gifts, flowers and a wide array of other items can be purchased at the Gift Shop located in the main lobby. A Gift Cart featuring reading materials, personal care items, snacks and lotions is taken to patient floors one or two days each week.
Online shopping and delivery from the Hospital Gift Shop are available through the Hospital's Web site.
Humor Cart
Humorous videos, audio tapes and books delivered to your room by White Plains Hospital Volunteers. Ask your nurses on units 4E, 5E, and 5F.
Patient Library
Books and magazines are available on loan through the patient library located on 5C. A library cart visits patient floors regularly or you may request reading material by calling extension 1225. If you have vision problems, materials such as books on tape, magnifiers, prism glasses, and large print publications are available.
Pet Therapy
Trained dogs provide visits to your room to help lift your spirits.
