How Direct to You™ self-ordered lab testing works:
With some of the most commonly ordered medical tests available to you, you can monitor your own health, on your own schedule. Direct to You™ offers laboratory tests that you order yourself, at your convenience. No appointment or prescription from a physician is necessary, as long as you are 18 years of age or older.
To have a test done, simply come to White Plains Hospital’s Admitting Department, Monday – Friday, 7 AM to 6 PM, or Saturday from 8 AM till noon. Ask for a Direct to You™ order form.
Choose the tests from the available list and show photo ID, or two other types of identification. Complete the form and then pay for the tests with cash, check or credit card.
A laboratory professional will draw a small blood sample or provide you with a specimen container and collection instructions. In most cases, you can get your test results in just a few hours. You can call us at 914-681-1232 for your results between 7 AM and 6 PM, Monday-Friday, or Saturday from 8 AM until noon. You can also come in and get the results, or have them mailed directly to your home.
