White Plains, NY (June 4, 2010) – Our Volunteers are crucial members of the White Plains Hospital family, working directly with patients or assisting the professional staff to achieve the Hospital's goal of providing the best possible care. Their gift of time brings immeasurable nurture and comfort to thousands of patients each year.
Over 500 volunteers from White Plains Hospital were honored at the Annual Volunteer Luncheon held in May at the Woman’s Club of White Plains. During 2009 approximately 67,000 hours of service were given by volunteers at the Hospital.
