Susan Fox Named Senior Vice President, Administration At White Plains Hospital Center

White Plains, NY - Susan Fox of Larchmont has been named Senior Vice President, Administration for White Plains Hospital Center (WPHC).
White Plains, NY (August 30, 2010) - Susan Fox of Larchmont has been named Senior Vice President, Administration for White Plains Hospital Center (WPHC).
Ms. Fox brings more than 25 years of health management experience for leading New York metropolitan area health care systems. She comes to WPHC from North Shore Long Island Jewish Health System (NSLIJHS) where most recently she served as Senior Vice President, Physician and Ambulatory Network Services. She initally joined NSLIJHS in 1998 as Senior Vice President, Clinical and Consulting Services where she worked with the board of trustees to define organization’s mission and developed an in-house operations and strategy consulting team to actualize the opportunities of the newly founded Health System.
Previously, Ms. Fox served as Vice President, Corporate Affairs for Long Island Jewish Medical Center. In that capacity, she led the analysis of the operational and clinical benefits of the proposed merger of North Shore University Health System and Long Island Jewish Medical Center which became NSLIJHS. She began her administrative career at Ernst & Young in their division of Health Care Consulting Services in New York.

Ms. Fox holds a B.S. in Nursing from Columbia University and an M.B.A. in Healthcare Administration from Baruch College/Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She has served as President of the Metropolitan Health Administrators Association and the New York Association of Ambulatory Care and is a member of the Medical Group Management Association and the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Susan and her husband Jeff Menkes have two sons. She also has two adult step children.
