White Plains Hospital is a reflection of the community it serves, thanks to the loyal support of many area residents. These dedicated individuals assist the Hospital in many ways - as volunteers, Auxilians, Board Members and donors. Without their support, the Hospital would not be the leading medical facility that it is, providing world class care in a compassionate manner - close to home.

"A Life Saved" dramatically depicts how newly acquired therapeutic hypothermia technology in the Emergency Department helped save the life of a woman in cardiac arrest.

The hypothermia-inducing equipment was purchased with funds generously donated to the Hospital and is an example of how important community support is in allowing the Hospital to acquire up-to-date technology that can save lives.

"Saving Hearts, Saving Lives" depicts the story of a 44 year old father-of-two whose life was saved by the cutting-edge, state-of-the-art Cardiac Catheterization Lab at White Plains Hospital. The entire Lab was made possible solely through generous contributions from our community. This community support enables us to acquire the necessary technology to save not only lives, but families.
