White Plains Hospital will again celebrate good health with our 6th annual Wellness Through Prevention Month in May. Join us for these entertaining and informative programs throughout the month.
Wellness Through Prevention Month 2013 will include the following:
Cooking with Dad: Tuesday, May 7, 5:30-7:30pm
Join White Plains Hospital’s Culinary Institute of America Trained Chef and Father, Lee Mingione, who will show dads and their kids how to create some simple Mother’s Day- Breakfast recipes that taste good and are good for you. Reservations are required no later than April 16th. The event will take place at Church Street Elementary School, White Plains. Free ~ limited to the first 50 families. Call Kellie at 914-681-1192.
“Brake” for Breakfast Event: Wednesday, May 22, 7:00-8:30am in front of Dickstein Cancer Treatment Center, 2-4 Longview Ave, White Plains (rain date Wednesday, May 29th)

Women and Wellness at Bloomingdales White Plains: “Beauty from the Inside Out”: (Thursday, May 30th, 6:00-9:00pm)
Get your girlfriends together for a girl’s night out that’s actually good for you. It’s your opportunity to get reliable answers on important health issues from a panel of White Plains Hospital medical experts. Wondering whether hormone replacement therapy is right for you? Curious about bone health? Not sure how often to get a mammogram? Get answers to these and other questions at a fun-filled and informative evening. Be sure to enjoy all of the “beauty bar” events, including hand massages, free goodie bags, wellness tips, custom drinks and treats.
