Imaging Center Provides Comprehensive Diagnostic and Consultation Services for Women
White Plains, NY – (December 11, 2012) – Sunny Mitchell, M.D., Director of Breast Surgery at White Plains Hospital, is now available for patient consultations at the Hospital's Women's Imaging Center in Rye Brook, NY. The Center has provided high-quality digital mammography, as well as breast and pelvic ultrasound and MRI, breast biopsy under ultrasound, and bone densitometry, among many other radiology services since it opened a decade ago. Highly experienced board-certified radiologists Rosalyn Kutcher, M.D. and Marjorie Rosenblatt, M.D. are on staff full time at the Women's Imaging Center and collaborate with Dr. Mitchell on patient cases.
The technologically advanced imaging procedures available at the Imaging Center provide women with precise clinical information and aid physicians in providing accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans for patients. To better accommodate schedules, Dr. Mitchell, who specializes in oncoplastic and nipple-sparing mastectomy, is often able to consult with patients immediately following a suspicious radiological finding in the breast. In most cases, test results are provided to patients on the same day.
"I'm so pleased to be joining Drs. Kutcher and Rosenblatt, two highly sought after radiologists who are both experts in their field, to help women in our community access the most advanced level of breast care," said Dr. Mitchell.
The Women's Imaging Center is located at 90 South Ridge Street in Rye Brook. Parking is free. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 914-935-0011.
